Testimonials

MY HERO(ES) 2022 :There are heroes and there are heroines. Today I would like to celebrate Dr. Juliet Otiti Sengeri of Makerere University College of Health Sciences and the prestigious Georgina’s Eye Care Centre who is one of the most outstanding ophthalmologists I have ever met. Apart from being outstanding, Julie(her preferred reference) is also kind and professional. Our Dear sister Dr. Solome Kiribakka Bakeera  Bakeera is a thorough Family Physician who always ensures that Mum, now 82 years young gets the best health care. About 6mo ago, Solo(as we fondly refer to her) noted that Mummy’s vision was faltering. Fast foward… Dr. Otiti confirmed that she required a delicate eye operation. She graciously cancelled the consultation and professional fees, and worked with her best team to save Mum’s eyesight.Mum is a retired nurse, and Julie treated her as a colleague,we are truly grateful to those who maintain and practice the hipocratic oath and work beyond the call of duty. We are grateful for the good work and the continued blessings. Today I wish to celebrate Dr. Juliet Otiti Sengeri and Dr. Solome Kiribakka Bakeera for their kindness, passion and dedication to make a difference in the life of other people. Happy Heroes Day today and always. Dr. Sabrina B. Kitaka

I love it when a family business becomes a legacy business. One such business is Georgina Eye Clinic, One of the few Ugandan-owned Ophthalmology/optical practices in the country. I got my first eye exam and pair of glasses from Dr. John Otiti when the clinic was still on kampala road way back when(read 1979). it was a pleasure to return with my 14 year old son for a joint check up to see Dr. Juliet Otiti Sengeri (Dr. John Otiti’s daughter) is carrying on the family tradition. The experience is still very much about making sure that you feel like family.
